Many companies are also giving monetary compensation for the same, so look if your company has similar schemes and your work profile has similar entitlements. Defining a work space within the house will not only make the work smoother, but will also enable a work-home divide. Work can be difficult in itself, even without the added weight of the pandemic thrown in. Thus entice yourself with rewards as it can motivate you and help you to complete projects quickly. Your rewards can be anything you like, from a small bar of chocolate to ten minutes of cuddle time with your pooch.

You can also break down your goal into smaller parts, and reward yourself for each part that you complete. The idea is to ensure that you remain motivated to do your work.

Remember that linking rewards to work doesn’t mean that you can only reward yourself after a work is completed. Sometimes, just no reason is a good enough reason to have a long hot bath or order some food or take away. It is all about striking a balance between happiness and productivity.
